The Magee Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for a new children's boutique at 11 a.m. on March 1.

Mississippi's annual sales tax holiday starts Friday at 12:01 a.m. and will last 48 hours until midnight on Saturday, July 28.

During the event, the sales tax is waived on specific items, according to the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
